Pumpkin Smoothie

It’s the week of Halloween, you had to know the inevitable was coming. That’s right I am starting to incorporate pumpkin into my diet. From pumpkin waffles to pumpkin smoothie this month is dedicated to Hocus Pocus and all things pumpkin flavored. I tried to make this smoothie as healthy as possible but since it’s so sweet, it is easy to quickly turn it into a fat and sugar heavy smoothie by adding a dollop of whip cream. Enjoy fall from the sunny beaches of San Diego to picturesque Salem, Massachusetts with this delicious smoothie.

Ingredients:

-1 cup of pumpkin puree

-1 medium banana

-1 cup of skim milk

-6 cubes of ice

-A sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions:

-Mix all ingredients into a blender, pour, and enjoy while watching your favorite Halloween movie!
